COVID 19 and shopping with us..
How we are dealing with it and how we will reopen
We are all well aware of the basics by now - stay 2 metres apart, wash hands, cover face. But when it comes to shopping, both now and as the restrictions lift, we have some things to bear in mind.
Ordering online reduces your risk hugely - we package with the greatest care, and ship using An Post, We try where possible to wrap in material that can be wiped with disinfectant easily at your end.
We post as often as possible during the week, while being socially responsible. Please be aware that delays are inevitable at this time, but we will be as prompt as possible.
We are happy to answer any questions before purchase at email@example.com or via our FB page . But as we move closer to physically reopening the shop here is what you need to know about your future shopping experience.
THE SHOP ENVIRONMENT
As many of our regulars are aware the shop is a very small space (although we can prove that 30 plus uke players can fit given enough encouragement and wine !)
Because of the size of the space, we will be operating by appointment. We will be masked and we ask that you also wear masks, for everyone's safety.

If possible, arrange to have a video chat with us, or correspond with us about your needs. This will ensure you do not have a wasted journey and it will minimize the amount of time you need to be physically in the shop.
We will accept only one appointment at a time and a max of 2 people, from the same household, at each appointment.*
Please be prompt about keeping the appointment, and please be aware that there will be an appointment after you.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
Please pay by credit card if at all possible
Before Covid 19 trying instruments was often a hands on experience, as we help adjust the hold or stance of the player, especially with violins. Fitting instruments to younger players, especially bowed instruments, aso required us to stand close and adjust.
Obviously this has changed - but we are still committed to giving you the best possible service and expert help. We will work with you while minimizing contact and ensure you are comfortable.

COLLECTION IN SHOP
Once we can open it will be possible to order online and collect in the shop, but as we will not be open regular hours to begin with, please confirm before coming in to collect. Once we confirm collection, we will have your item ready to collect at the door.
